My Fashion Design – First Steps in Millinery
A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was working on my first hat project. It cost me a few sleepless nights but I managed to finish all my hats for the final millinery class! Some of them are slightly different than originally planned. You know the feeling when you change your mind about a design at the last minute and decide to make something completely different?
I wanted to make a look book around my hats but I guess it is a bigger project than I expected so it is on my list. But for now, here are my first creations.

"Lady Bird" beret

20s style pink cloche hat with leave detail

Maroon wide brimmed hat with green beaded flower detail

Asymmetrical black top hat with pink rose detail and veil

The ladybird Beret is beautiful. But all of them look great. Well done for making such wonderful hats.
Thanks Sherin! The ladybird is my favourite too, I guess it is more casual than the rest!
They’re all gorgeous! I think my favourite is the pink cloche! Well done, they’re beautiful!
Thanks missmilky! I am really glad you like the cloche as I wasn’t sure about that one:)
Ooh, the cloche is my favourite too! Now, where will you be selling them?
Thanks Fiona!
I am actually looking for places/venues to sell my hats at the moment. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
