Best Way to Kill the Sunday Blues
I was browsing on the net on Sunday morning when I spotted that there was going to be a “Recessionista” Charity Fashion Show on the same evening in SPY club on South William. So off went the dvd planned for the eve and I decided to give it a go.
The Fashion Show was held in aid of the dog charities A Dogs Life and Friends of Ben as well as to Irish Autism Action. So the €20 for the tickets were justified, always a good thing. Hosted by Irish Celebrity Sybil Mulcahy, styled by Agnes Hennessy from Style with Agnes and coordinated by event organizer Anita Ui Bhroin, the show was featuring ethical fashion by Epoch and Hayworth Vintage and some affordable pieces by Debenhams. The atmosphere was fantastic. The excitement of organizers and contributors was infectious and the event was full of buzz and fun so I left uplifted and ready to face Monday morning the next morning.
